Well well well, if isn’t Watch Dogs once again. It was only yesterday that Ubisoft swindled the fuck out of us with the first game, which looked nothing like what they originally unveiled at E3 2012. Now, the sequel has been confirmed and is dropping in stores on November 15, 2016. Yay? Check out the reveal video above for more details.
I enjoyed having the first game in Chicago, but it got repetitive very quickly and the multiplayer–while very interesting–turned out to be hot garbage. Hopefully they do something far more cohesive with MP this time.
That said, Watch Dogs 2 actually looks pretty good from what I can tell. San Francisco, where the game is set now, seems to make a ton more sense for a hacking-based narrative, considering it’s Silicon Valley and all. Also, they got rid of Aiden Pierce and replaced him with a brotha named Marcus. Fuckin’ right, bring on the diversity!
