A leaked Injustice 2 promo poster has been making its rounds this morning, so it’s all but confirmed that the game is on the way. An official announcement should be coming within the next week with E3 on the horizon. Warner Bros. Interactive had been rumored to be “announcing a sequel” to something in the coming days. Well there you have it, bitches.
The top dog at NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, threw a quick shot at Gamestop for letting the poster see the light of day:

Oh man, the salt levels on this tweet tho! The original Injustice gets all the hate for catering to the casuals. And though it was mechanically bland, the story mode–ironically for a fighting game–was very entertaining. I personally don’t give a shit about any of that, as long as they put Static Shock in the game. It’s not like I plan on playing this game for its competitive scene anyway, and we need more brotha superheroes to rep in these titles that aren’t ass-tier like Cyborg was. Eyes on you, NetherRealm.
