We got a little more info on OverWatch‘s next hero, thanks to Blizzard dropping a cryptic ass blueprint on social media this morning. The blueprint appears to be from pre-Omnic crisis times–when Reaper was still Gabriel Reyes and Soldier 76 was still Jack Morrison–and it outlines the abilities of a long-ranged medicinal rifle. Torbjörn and Mercy seem to be at odds about the weapon’s design, which doesn’t reveal much else other than Mercy’s fear of Overwatch tech being used for evil. Check it:

Many have been claiming that this weapon belongs to Sombra, another original member of Overwatch who is rumored to not only be akin to Pharah, but to also have somehow made the shift from human to Omnic. She’s also rumored to be a support hero with the ability to heal her team from a distance, so it’s likely that this piece of tech belongs to her. Regardless of who she truly is,  though, the person wielding the weapon from the tweet above is likely to be the main target of Reapers, WidowMakers, and 76s globally. I’m already loving what this means for the OverWatch meta.
