Electronic Arts just wrapped up kicking off E3 2016 and it was… meh. What we were shown were a bunch of games we already knew about–you know, the Titanfall 2s, Mass Effect: Andromedas, and Battlefield 1s. Actually, I’d say I’m jumping the gun by claiming these games were “shown” to us. There wasn’t any gameplay outside of some high-end PC Battlefield 1 footage shown at the end of the conference. There were more reasons to believe it would happen than not, but now we have official confirmation from Sony that an upgraded PlayStation 4 is on the way. The current president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Andrew House, made a couple statements to Financial Times in regards to the upcoming hardware.
“It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4,” House stated. “We will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle.” (more…)
Well well well, if isn’t Watch Dogs once again. It was only yesterday that Ubisoft swindled the fuck out of us with the first game, which looked nothing like what they originally unveiled at E3 2012. Now, the sequel has been confirmed and is dropping in stores on November 15, 2016. Yay? (more…)
A leaked Injustice 2 promo poster has been making its rounds this morning, so it’s all but confirmed that the game is on the way. An official announcement should be coming within the next week with E3 on the horizon. Warner Bros. Interactive had been rumored to be “announcing a sequel” to something in the coming days.
